The 2019 1/4oz Silver Noahas Ark coin from Armenia is part of a renowned series first introduced in 2011. Designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, this edition marks the ninth release of the coin.

The reverse side features a striking depiction of Noahas Ark set against the backdrop of Mount Ararat, Armenias national symbol. Although Mount Ararat is now within Turkish territory, it remains a significant part of Armenias cultural and historical identity. In the foreground, a dove carrying an olive branch symbolizes peace. According to the biblical account, Noahas Ark came to rest near Mount Ararat after the great flood.

On the obverse, the Armenian National Coat of Arms is prominently displayed, encircled by the inscription Republic of Armenia both Armenian and English. Additional details include the mint mark, the coins face value of 100 Dram, its silver purity of .999 (AG), and its weight of 1/4 oz.

Armenia, located between Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Iran, outsources the production of these coins to Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung GmbH, a minting facility in Ratha, Germany.
