Many insurance providers recommend that jewellery and watches are professionally valued every two to three years to ensure your cover reflects current market values. At David Mellor Jewellers, valuations are carried out by a visiting Fellow of The Institute of Registered Valuers, who visits our showrooms each month to provide an independent, professional assessment.
All jewellery and watches are carefully handled throughout the valuation process, with every item securely transported and fully insured whilst in our care. When booking your valuation, we recommend bringing any original diamond or gemstone certificates that accompany your jewellery, and ensuring your items are in a wearable condition.
