Professional Jewellery Care
Jewellery Repairs & Bespoke Design
Our experienced in-house Goldsmiths provide expert jewellery repairs, alterations, restorations, remodelling, bespoke commissions and pearl restringing from our Eastleigh workshop. Repairs can be booked into any of our showrooms, with secure transfer to our workshop for assessment and repair.
We also offer selected same-day services, nationwide repair assistance and specialist trade services for fellow jewellery retailers.
Watch Repairs/Servicing, Batteries & Straps
From everyday timepieces to luxury Swiss watches, our experienced team provides professional watch care for all major brands. We offer same-day battery replacements, pressure testing, strap and bracelet adjustments, digital watch setup and a wide range of repair services, all carried out with expert attention to detail.
For specialist servicing and repairs, including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, TAG Heuer, Breitling and other premium brands, we work with trusted horologists to ensure every watch receives the highest standard of care. We are also an authorised SWATCH Group Service Centre.
Personalised Engraving
Add a truly personal touch with our professional engraving service. From traditional hand engraving to precision laser engraving, we can personalise jewellery, watches and gifts with names, dates, messages, a loved one's handwriting, fingerprints, logos, photographs and much more.
We also offer specialist seal engraving, including traditional wax seal and stone seal engraving, carried out with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ear Piercing
We use the Inverness Piercing System, one of the world's safest and gentlest ear piercing systems. Using a hand-pressured instrument instead of a needle or trigger-style gun, the process is gentle and precise, with sterile, pre-sealed, hypoallergenic earrings.
There's no need to book an appointment, although you may wish to contact your local David Mellor Jewellers showroom before visiting to ensure a piercer is available that day.
Our ear piercing service is complimentary when you purchase a pair of Inverness piercing earrings. Earring prices start from £35 and vary depending on the style and metal you choose. The price includes your selected earrings, the piercing itself and a bottle of Inverness aftercare solution.
